Whisper, the pioneering anonymous social network valued at $200 million, hired Vibrancy to develop and produce their first official commercial. Whisper has a primarily Millennial audience, so through the video, we emphasized visually how social media is part of the fabric of our every day lives.
In order to immerse the audience in the world of the party, we orchestrated the whole story to be captured in one take, and incorporated the Whisper social media posts into the characters’ interactions. From the dominant purple theme that reflects the app’s main color to the personal and confessional nature of the Whispers, we strove to help give audiences the experience of using the app, and demonstrate Whisper's core value proposition.
It was such an incredible opportunity to work with a company spearheading a completely new way to connect with the world. Unlike Facebook or Instagram, which are essentially highlight reels
of your life, Whisper is a platform that allows
you to connect with others based on issues
truly meaningful to your life.
Whisper revolves around memes (photos with words on top) and users post things like "I just danced with two people at my wedding, the main I married and the man I wish I had married" or "I just broke up with my girlfriend and I have no one to talk to". Whisper is the place to talk about the things you would never share on other social networks. It's really an amazing platform and it's been a pleasure working with them to tell their story and help build their brand.
